Some love stories are years in the making. Ours started with a simple introduction and a whole lot of God's perfect timing.Sarah and Jackson were introduced by one of Jackson's best friends, who also happened to be one of Sarah's good friends from UNC Chapel Hill. At the time, Sarah was pursuing her master's degree at Carolina, while Jackson was beginning his second season as the front tire changer for Christopher Bell's No. 20 team at Joe Gibbs Racing.The story began at 6:00 a.m. Sarah was studying for an exam when her roommate casually mentioned Jackson's name. Curious, she looked him up on Instagram. Funny enough, Jackson was also awake at 6:00 a.m. getting ready for practice. He followed her back, immediately texted his friend asking, "Who is this?" and before long, he was invited to Chapel Hill that very weekend.Neither of them knew each other from Adam, but from the moment they met, something just clicked. Two weeks later, on Valentine's Day, they both knew they had found something worth pursuing.While the beginning of our story is one we'll always laugh about, the most meaningful part has been what God has done since.Sarah has always said that "Jackson made Christianity cool." Not because he had all the answers or had life perfectly figured out, but because he showed her that following Jesus is a joyful, authentic, everyday relationship, not just a Sunday routine. His love for the Lord inspired Sarah to pursue her own faith more deeply, and together we've learned what it looks like to build a relationship with Christ at the center.Looking back, we can so clearly see God's hand weaving our story together long before we ever met. What started with a simple introduction became a beautiful reminder that the Lord's plans are always greater than our own.On February 28, 2026, during what Sarah thought was just another round of golf, Jackson completely surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to spend forever with him.As we begin this next chapter, we pray our home is filled with joy, grace, laughter, and unwavering faith, and that every season of our lives together points back to the One who faithfully wrote our story from the very beginning. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!

Childhood and longtime best friend of the bride. Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, Elizabeth Moore was promoted to Maid of Honor because "bridesmaid" just didn't seem like enough. Thanks to two dads who were in each other's weddings, these two have been attached at the hip for as long as they can remember.

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, Carson and Sarah went from teammates to best friends after meeting on a way-too-competitive YMCA basketball team at age six. By high school, Sarah was spending so many school nights at Carson's house that her parents probably should've charged rent. Today, Carson is a Clinical Specialist.

Carson DeLong

Born and raised in Rocky Mount, Barkley and Sarah became friends freshman year at UNC and the two have been making each other giggle ever since. They have a knack for ending up in this-could-only-happen-to-us situations, creating stories they'll tell forever. Barkley is putting her brains to work in med school at Campbell saving lives (and seeing questionable body parts every day).

Barkley Browder

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, Avery and Sarah have known each other most of their lives and have collected enough stories together to keep everyone entertained for years. Avery has essentially been a Chapel Hill resident ever since college, sticking around for dental school and now pediatric dental residency at UNC. Somehow, against all odds, they're both still alive... and that's all we'll say about that.

Born and raised in Wilson, NC, Morgan and Sarah became friends freshman year at UNC, and Morgan has been Sarah's unofficial decision-maker ever since. Sarah has learned that life is just easier after asking, "What do you think, Morgan?" Morgan is now a dentist living in Wilmington with her newlywed husband, Kyle.

Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Virginia and Sarah became friends freshman year at UNC after realizing their dads had been friends for years. Virginia is studying to become a PA and has been the (semi) responsible one since birth, which works out well, because Sarah has never claimed to be.

Virginia Pace

Born and raised in Greenville, NC, Martha Ann met Sarah at UNC orientation after their dads recognized each other from college and caused a scene by yelling across the room. One "I guess we should be friends" later, and the rest is history. She's also a DJ in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, Mary Slade first entered Sarah's life as one of Ellie's best friends before fate brought them together on the same PGA TOUR team in Charlotte. Somewhere between long workdays and countless laughs, she became one of Sarah's favorite people. Now, Sarah can't imagine doing work, or life, without her.

Born and raised on the Upper East Side of NYC, Rebecca brings just enough New York energy wherever she goes. She and Sarah met while working for the PGA of America, and one tournament after another turned coworkers into lifelong friends.
